CHOO CHOO CLOWN: Welcome, participants, to this Choo Choo Clown "gab session." We're here to talk about the humiliation and also the joy of growing up the son or daughter of a superstar.
ALL: We thank you for inviting us, Choo Choo Clown. We hope our answers to your questions are satisfactory. CCC: We'll start with you, Mr. Joyce. It's well-known that you interrupted a ceremoney to which you were not invited commemorating some location or other in honor of your famous grandsire. Care to explain yourself? JOYCE: Well, that's true. The ceremony was in London, and commemorated the spot where, in 1931, my grandparents were married. My wife and I were not invited CCC: Jasmine Jordan, what's it like trying to live up to the ridiculous standards your father set for you? JORDAN: What? CCC: How does it feel waking up every day and thinking, "How am I possibly going to compete with daddy?" JORDAN: Ummm... CCC: Do you play basketball? JORDAN: Yeah! CCC: As well as your father? JOYCE: Excuse me, I'd like to finish my thought CCC [to JORDAN]: Will you admit that you can't play basketball as well as your father or won't you? JORDAN: What are you talking about? CCC: Stephen Joyce, many people have described as you as arrogant and pretentious. Would you say this is a fair description of you? [Jasmine Jordan leaves the table.] JOYCE: I WASHINGTON [through psychic channeler "Barbara"]: I have come from beyond the grave JOYCE: Excuse me, I'd like to finish my sentence, please. The event CCC: Thank you, each of you, for devoting a small part of your considerable free time to this Choo Choo Clown Roundtable discussion. Good luck in all your future endeavors. |

James Joyce is so famous his face appears on the nearly worthless currency of his impoverished homeland.
Michael Jordan had "ups" like nobody's business and is a gazillionaire many times over, to the delight of his fans.
George Washington whipped the British and refused the crown we offered him. Privately he called Cornwallis "a bit of a jackass." |
